Can a will be revoked?

Wills are freely revocable, Article 542 paragraph 1 ZGB. The revocation can be declared in the same form as the creation of the will, either in person or before a notary in front of two witnesses. A public will can also be revoked by a handwritten private will. Dispositions can also only be partially revoked, for example if conflicting dispositions are made later, Article 544 Paragraph 1 ZGB.
