Inheritance cases in cross-border situations within the EU mainly differ only in terms of the applicable law. The European Succession Regulation has clarified the issues of Determination of the applicable law and the Jurisdiction of the courts standardised. We therefore focus here on the presentation of the respective inheritance law.
