What are the conditions for the validity of wills in Belgium?

In Belgium, to make a legally valid will, one must be of legal age (Articles 901 et seq. of the Civil Code). Minors over the age of 16 have limited testamentary capacity and can only dispose of half of their available assets (Articles 904 and 913 et seq. of the Civil Code). The will itself must be sufficiently specific and in accordance with the law and public policy.
